Put in Work
How many of you out there are in a job or career that you really hate? I mean you dislike waking up in the morning to go to your place of employment. Every morning is going to be the day that you quit, but you always snap back to reality and realize that you do not want to be homeless.
It feels good to have electricity in your home, so you are stuck at that job, or are you? What if I told you that you have the ability to change your situation? The only thing that is required is the desire to change and the commitment to investing in yourself.
If you have those two things then you are ready. The biggest lie that was ever told to you was that you are a victim of your circumstance.
With regards to investing in yourself, you will need two things to make that investment. The first thing that you will need in order to invest in yourself is time. This is very important. Think about how much time you currently spend watching TV, checking Facebook, Instagram, Snapchat, etc.
What if you used that time to go to a library or going online to research what it is that you really want to do to bring you happiness and income. There is nothing wrong with watching TV and being on social media, but if you feel that you are not where you want to be in life, then your time would be spent more productive making and executing a plan of action for your life.
Many successful entrepreneurs work 60 or more hours a week. That investment in time is crucial to their success. If you think about it, many successful people in general invest lots of time on their business and craft. Their end result may look easy to us, but the investment of their time was the key to their success.
The second thing that you will need to invest in yourself is money. Yes I said it, money. Before you get defeated and sing the broke song, think about this. In the last month, how much money did you spend on non essential things?
I mean things such as alcohol, night clubs, restaurant bills, new shoes, etc… That money could have been used to take a business course at your local community college. It could have been used to take a real estate course or some skill or training that you truly desire. If you can go into debt for a student loan, why not invest that money into your training or starting a business.
Instead of splurging with your income tax money, invest that money into bettering yourself in the long run. Your perfect future does not have to be a dream, make it a goal. Invest your time and money into getting it done.
